“Miss Informed” comes in very good condition with everything needed to sail and race today. Tiller steering and open cockpit made for racing but still comfortable enough to just enjoy a day sail. This owner has installed B&G electronic instruments that include windspeed, GPS, depth, and knot meter. This also has an AIS transmitter and receiver, a feature not often found on boats this small but a huge benefit for those wanting to sail offshore or after dark. The rigging is in excellent condition including spinnaker pole and has the convince of a harken roller furler headsail unit. The sail inventory has very good condition mainsail and several racing headsails and spinnakers as well as extra practice sails in fair condition. The motor is a stern bracket mounted Honda 2hp outboard.
Originally built in 1988 the Andrews 26 is designed by Alan Andrews and this boat was first named “Easy Go” and later was called “Hotel Jet”. Damage caused by a grounding accident in 2001 led to a serious rebuild and work done on the keel and has been well maintained and raced often ever since.
